This self-directed creative study was built around a simple puff-pastry hand pie recipe and an autumn visual direction. The goal was to create a complete seasonal asset set that made the finished pastry feel warm, crisp, and approachable while still providing useful process imagery for website and social storytelling.
The Creative Approach
A muted gray surface, warm mustard textile, fresh apples, candlelight, and restrained fall botanicals establish the seasonal setting without overwhelming the food. The image sequence moves from ingredients and diced apples through unbaked pastries to handheld and finished hero frames, giving the project both practical recipe coverage and polished editorial imagery.
Vertical Reel
The vertical reel carries the same warm autumn palette into motion, using preparation details and finished-pastry moments to create a concise social-first recipe story.
What This Demonstrates
The project demonstrates autumn art direction, texture-focused pastry photography, process coverage, and the ability to build complementary vertical motion from the same production. It also shows how one shoot can generate a flexible mix of web, social, and campaign-style assets.
